The Engineering Iron and Steel Association of Zimbabwe (EISAZ) hereby gladly announce that Treger Products` Group Human Resource Manager, Bekezela Mangena was accepted new president for the industrial body at the Association`s Annual General meeting held at Holiday – Inn, Bulawayo on 20th July 2018.Mr B Mangena takes over from Mono Pumps Zimbabwe Chief Executive Officer Mr Austin Tigere. Before the acceptance, B Mangena was EISAZ`s vice president.
Bekezela has been a renowned Human Resource Practitioner of Treger Products for over 8 years. After training as a teacher, he served the Ministry of Education as a secondary school teacher. He further studied a Bachelor of Commerce degree in human resource management and served Treger Products as Human Resource and Training Manager for eight years and due to hard work, dedication, loyalty, passion and commitment, he was promoted to the position of Group Human Resource Manager. He has vast experience in handling human resource issues and has sat in various committees at NEC Engineering and Iron and Steel industry including the Executive Committee and Full Council.
The new vice president is Blessing Vee Munatsi, Managing Director of Jacob Bethel Corporation. Blessing holds MBA (Delta International University) and a Bachelor of Commerce in Information Systems (UCT) – University of Cape Town. He has over 10 years’ working experience and has worked for companies in different industries including Innscor Africa. He worked for the University of Zimbabwe Clinical Research Centre (UZCRC) & University of Zimbabwe - University of California San Francisco (UZ–UCSF) Programs where he was the Senior Administrator for three years. At these two institutions he gained priceless administrative experience in a Research setting. He also gained invaluable experience in the field of Auditing from Deloitte. Blessing is a holder of a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Information Systems from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, and a Master in Business Administration from Delta International University, USA. He was a semi - final Judge for The Global Student Entrepreneur Award for the meeting held in the USA from 2010-2011.
Other members of the EISAZ National Executive Council include Mr A Tigere , Mono Pumps Zimbabwe`s Chief Executive Officer who has assumed the role of immediate past president, Mr D Mugarisanwa, Group Human Resource Manager for Africa Steel who was re-elected as chairman of the Association`s Eastern Region and Mr C Gesi – Managing Director of Leo free Technologies who was elected as chairman of the Western Region. Mr E Jackson – Human Resource Manager for Pump and Steel Supplies and Mr E Ganyani – Human Resource Manager for Claude Neon Signs will also serve in the EISAZ National Executive Council in their capacities as regional council vice chairpersons respectively.
