Essar Tubes and Towers (Pvt) Ltd was formed in 2002, when it acquired the fabrication and galvanising divisions of ABB Zimbabwe. The company’s operations are located in Willowvale, Harare and include a fully equipped workshop with railway siding, sand blasting facilities and personnel with vast experience. In 2005, a tube mill was commissioned on site. This was a significant indicator of the company’s ambition and growth within the Zimbabwean market despite the economic downturn.
