Trading as More Wear Manufacturing was founded in 2016, by ex-More Wear Industries Employees, who recognized the opportunity of satisfying the market demand for a variety of fabricated products in the Southern African Sub-continent after the liquidation of GULLIVER CONSOLIDATED LIMITED. The country’s infrastructure was developing fast in these past years, as was the need for transport and equipment to move an ever-increasing volume of agricultural and mineral products and materials to various sites. Thus, road trailers became and still are a major feature of More Wear Manufacturer’s product portfolio. In the 1960’s the experience and know-how gained in heavy haul trailer construction was adapted with the active support of the Railways to initiate the fabrication of freight wagons and subsequent coaching stock.

In addition, the company expanded its product range to include tippers, dumpers, and related material handling equipment. More Wear developed and supplied Granby Cars and Coco Pans for underground mining. The growing needs of this country’s mining sector prompted More Wear to manufacture a variety of equipment to suit these needs.
