The Engineering, Iron and Steel Association of Zimbabwe (EISAZ) primarily exists to advance the business interests of companies in the engineering, iron, and steel sector by advocating for supportive industrial policies, addressing operational challenges, and promoting sector-wide competitiveness. It provides market intelligence, industry research, and business support services to help members make informed strategic decisions. EISAZ also fosters collaboration, standardization, and the adoption of best practices to improve productivity and operational efficiency across the sector. In addition, it represents employers in labour matters, including wage negotiations and industrial relations through the National Employment Council (NEC) with a focus on maintaining industrial harmony and sustainability. Overall, EISAZ serves as a unifying voice and strategic platform for ensuring the sector’s resilience and growth.
